Who prepares and checks the design?
A mechanical engineer prepares and signs the applicable design. The competent permit authority reviews it; where building-control legislation applies, a mechanical engineering inspector checks design and construction. TİSKİ may separately review water and sewer connections.
Coordination before construction
Shafts, floor penetrations, equipment rooms, heating, ventilation and power requirements are coordinated with architecture, structure and electrical design before work is concealed.

Depending on scope, Merek Yapı ve Mimari coordinates architectural design, mechanical engineering, permit documentation, water and drainage, heating, ventilation, equipment installation, testing and handover within one construction programme. Statutory signatures and approvals remain with the authorised engineers and authorities.
Testing and handover
Gradients, supports, insulation and equipment are inspected; applicable pressure, leakage, flow and commissioning tests are documented before handover.
